i pods, mp3 player or computer?

I have had my i pod photo and love it to death, but it is not for the faint of heart. I had to reset it several times in the past few months, and had to do a full restore in the past week. All the songs on the hard drive were erased, and I had to reload it. This is not a suitable product for Seniors that don't have computer experience since a crash could disable it and require a computer to make it whole again!!!!!
